Snowdonia Hydro is a hydro power consultancy based in Tywyn, on the Cardigan Bay coast of Southern Gwynedd and surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Snowdonia National Park.
We specialise in the licensing and installation of high head hydroelectric schemes and are perfectly situated to reach both North and South Wales from our offices.
We believe that hydro power is a fantastic resource for producing clean free energy with low impact on the land. In addition, the Feed In Tariff (FIT) scheme supported by the UK Government and energy regulating body OFGEM, offers financial incentives to support renewable energy installations.
Hydro power can offer a huge range of benefits both environmentally and financially. If you think you have a suitable site for hydropower why not get in touch?
Snowdonia Hydro offers a professional service and partnership in conjunction with other renewable energy services, so if you think you have a potential site suitable for other renewable energy technologies we can arrange a flexible programme to offer you an objective view on other green solutions too.
